Applies to:
Public or private "projects" that require state or local government agency approval and create a direct or indirect foreseeable change to the environment such as:
- Loss of native habitats, trees, species or wetlands
- Introducing additional traffic
- Creating odors or noise
- New sources of air emissions, hazardous materials or pollutants
- Increasing human population
- Altering scenery or views
- Impacting drainage patterns
- Creating safety hazards
- Requiring a different land use than existing zoning
What you must do:
- Submit your project for approval through the environmental review process for an environmental determination
- Obtain approval for your project
- Implement any modifications, conditions or mitigations as required by the environmental review
